Leading with Rhythm, Not Balance Series

Devotional 4 of 7

Matthew 9:27-30

Two blind men follow Jesus persistently, calling out. Jesus hears them—but He does not stop immediately. He continues walking, responding later and in a different setting. This moment resonates deeply with leaders in extended seasons of effort without visible payoff:

  • Growth that lags behind investment

  • Culture change that unfolds slowly

  • Vision that requires patience before fruit

Jesus demonstrates confidence without reassurance. He does not rush the process or manufacture immediate outcomes.

Balance demands constant evidence. Rhythm trusts trajectory.

Reflection

  1. Where am I frustrated by delayed progress?

  2. What does it look like to lead forward without immediate validation?
